Human Amendment

Let's write to Congress (www.congress.org):

Dear Representative:

It is time for a new Amendment to the Constitution.  It would seem to be self-evident but man is inclined to be blinded by self-interest and greed. The struggle to survive, be successful, and even fulfilled in this
country has gone from lone families working their family farms and socializing in small towns, to large farms supporting cities, to monopolized, commercial farms contracting to grow for large corporations
with global markets.  We have gone from a country of personally accountable sole proprietors and family businesses to small commercial businesses to large corporate entities.  Corporations have promised
society anonymous jobs on a large scale at the expense of personal freedom, identity, and responsibility.  Our laws have followed the path of big business, and the rights of corporations to make profits are legally
held as equal to those of the rights of the individual effected by corporate business profits and at the expense of the individual.  Every individual's life is effected and at risk of being sacrificed for the
profit of big business because corporations (and their "right" to make profits) are legally considered entities equal to an individual. This country needs a new Amendment to the Constitution that establishes the legal foundation that human welfare, well-being, and health supersede the right to make financial profits and gain and that provides for a swift and just enforcement of individual rights over those of business rights.  Please help make that happen.

Sincerely,
