Re: Jesse Quinn Harrison
Mr. Harris:
Mr. Harrison has been arrested for a allegedly transmitting a threatening letter and malicious intimidation or harassment in connection with a home video of someone barbecuing pork and a Quran. Yet, after seeing the protest video made by Mr. Harrison (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC70dF9FNIQ&feature=player_embedded&skipcontrinter=1), the charges for which he was arrested are just not credible without a smoking gun of a very threatening letter. The way this video is made, it is an obvious show of disgust at the hateful, violent, and/or murderous jihad crimes that the pictures represent. The last picture and caption seem to say who the video is in memory of. The way the video is made would only incite violence under Sharia law, not U.S. law.
Under Sharia law, any criticism or disrespect of Islam, Muhammad, or the Quran are criminal offenses punishable by death. Under U.S. law, the U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom of speech and religion, including for non-Muslims. Is Oklahoma ignoring the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the standard of U.S. law (reasonableness) and enforcing Sharia law now?
