Religious Freedom

Let's write to Congress (www.congress.org):

Dear Representative:

True religion is the search for relationship with God, even though some do not recognize God as God and only recognize works  and aspects of God, and as such is not a threat to mankind.  The beauty of our Constitution is that it recognizes and respects an individual's right to pursue that  relationship individually.  However, there is a distinction between religions with strict doctrines which allows followers to live by or leave the religion, and religions, such as Islam, that not only forbids leaving the religion but mandates non-believers be subject to, and indeed subjugated by, the religion.   Other religions seek to influence, persuade, and inspire.  Islam seeks to conquer and should not be accommodated in that aim.
