Radicalization

Islam promises privilege over and plunder of non-Muslims, and sexual
dominance of Muslim men over women.  It is in the Quran and the
Haddith/Sunnah.  Such Islamic principles are enforced through Sharia law,
on Muslims and non-Muslims alike.  To expose the teachings of Islam to
reasonable scrutiny is to expose Muslims to in-credulousness, ridicule,
scorn, and even contempt for embracing such supremacist and sexist ideas.
Especially in this time of global jihad, jihadists do not want any light
to illuminate their motivations.  Mohammad's doctrine (in the Quran) and
practice (in the Haddith/Sunnah) of tagiyya ("war is deceit"), wants the
conquest for Islamic rule to be done in the dark.

In addition, to convert from Islam is a crime under Sharia law punishable
by death.  So, it is reasonable to assume that there are those Muslims who
would convert if they could without fear.  Another of Mohammad's
doctrines, taysir, lifts the obligation of all Muslims to enforce Sharia
law only unless and until there are enough Muslims/Muslims in power to
enforce it.  So, perhaps there are many Muslims who came to the U.S. to
escape the harsh enforcement of Sharia law.

So, where does that leave American Muslims who see unofficial enforcement
of Sharia law and the appointment of government officials who are Muslim
or Sharia-friendly?  Where does that leave American Muslims who hear
global jihadists and their imams give the West, especially the U.S.,
warnings to convert or be destroyed?  Have we given them the assurance
that they can convert and be protected?  Have we given them the assurance
that Sharia law will not be enforced in the U.S.?  And where does that
leave Muslims who DO wish to have all the privilege and plunder promised
them under Islam, who want to see Sharia law enforced in the West?  To
make the waters even muddier, Muslims are also obliged to support "lawful"
(under Sharia law, i.e., sanctioned by an imam) jihad, either violently,
financially (Muslim charities can ONLY support Muslims and Muslim causes),
or passively, bidding their time until they benefit from jihad conquest.

The answer for the U.S. is in our legal foundation (Constitution and Bill
of Rights) and our laws.  "Peaceful, law-abiding" Muslims in the U.S. do
NOT need special attention or accommodation.  We have the right to expect
them to obey U.S. law.  We also have the right to expect U.S. police
officers and courts to prosecute Muslims just like anyone else (equality
under the law) and jihad crimes severely as the heinous crimes they are.
We already have laws against murder and rape and robbery and extortion and
harassment and all the behaviors which are "legal" under Sharia law for
Muslims.  The Muslim "community" in the U.S. is only one percent of the
population and we do not need to change our country to accommodate the
"Muslim world" (ummah).  But, as we do have more severe penalties for gang
crimes, we also need to recognize jihad crimes as organized crime against
non-Muslims and give them more severe sentences.
