People need to educate themselves about what the law actually is in this country:
There has been a misconception regarding the War Powers Act, mainly from the fact that President Obama declared he did not have to consult Congress when sending troops into internationally sanctioned skirmishes. The War Powers Act deals with the President taking immediate action, like sending troops, but requires the President to consult Congress and obtain approval from Congress within 60 days and/or limits such action to 60 days. That was NEVER done regarding Libya. President Obama is out of control and completely disregarding the Constitution. NO law, not even the War Powers Act, can oppose/nullify the Constitutional provision that the President needs the approval of Congress. The Act just provides for swift, initial action.
