Dear Representative:
The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States says:
"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free
state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall NOT be
infringed." [Emphasis added]
The role, duties, authority, and
limitations of the office of President are defined in the Constitution
as the head of the Executive Branch of the Government. As such, the
President's job is to enforce the laws enacted by the Legislative Branch
and the President's oath of office is to "PRESERVE, protect, and defend
the Constitution of the United States." [Emphasis added] President
Obama's unconstitutional legislation via Executive Orders is outside the
scope of his authority and needs to be challenged by the Congress and
in the courts. An Executive Order nullifying the Second Amendment
requires swift action from you.
The reason for the Second
Amendment is contained within the Second Amendment, ". . . being
necessary to the security of a free
state . . ." It is another of those Constitutionally-protected
God-given rights of the people to protect themselves against tyranny in
government. Such self-preservation is the ensuring of ones life,
liberty, and pursuit of happiness which our Declaration of Independence
declares and our Constitution champions. This self-preservation is not
only done with weapons, but the Second Amendment secures the right to
self-defense with equal force to tyrannical governmental actions.
History has shown that disarming citizens is one of the first steps in
an oppressive takeover. Indeed, Stalin murdered 20 million of his own
citizens who refused to give up their arms. Let's not allow even the
provocation of such action in this country.
For this
cause, and all the other unconstitutional actions by President Obama,
articles of impeachment need to be written up and legislation needs to
be enacted
repealing/striking down any and all Executive Orders in opposition to
the Constitution of the United States. Are you willing to once again do
your job?
